Reggie Fils-Aime had one more 2017 Switch related surprise for everyone in a recent interview with Kotaku.
He confirmed that The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild’s second major DLC – The Champions Ballad – is still on track to release in 2017.
This is another huge boost for the console – with Xenoblade 2 still to come. The Champions Ballad Amiibo figures are due to release on November 10, however Reggie was quick to suggest the DLC may not release at the same time.
“We will shortly be announcing the date for that content, so I would not lock and load on November 10th.”
It’s part of the Breath of the Wild Season Pass and will still see Link in the lead role but will have more of an emphasis on Zelda.
More as we get it.
