Assassin’s Creed Rogue, set between Assassin’s Creed 3, Black Flag, and Unity, will be remastered for Xbox One and PS4 on March 20.
Often described as the ‘lost game’ in the Assassin’s Creed series, Assassin’s Creed Rogue completes the North American Trilogy arc and tells the story of an Irish immigrant, Shay Patrick Cormack.
Assassin’s Creed Rogue Remastered will provide higher resolution textures, improved shadows and lighting, in addition to various other visual improvements, such as denser crowds and improved environment rendering. It will play in 4K on PS4 Pro and Xbox One X, as well as at 1080p on base systems.
As with Black Flag, you’ll captain a ship, exploring a rebuilt New York city, as well as the icy waters of the North Atlantic. Players will also encounter familiar faces from other Assassin’s Creed games.
The remaster will add the two bonus missions which shipped with the Deluxe Edition – The Armor of Sir Gunn and The Siege of Fort de Sable. There will also be customisation and item packs added in, as well as available through the Ubisoft Club Rewards Program.
Assassin’s Creed Rogue Remastered will hit PS4 and Xbox One on March 20th. As of now, nothing has been mentioned about either PC or Switch versions of the game.
