Heroes of Newerth’s latest patch will be the last to feature in-game content after nine years of updates.

All future patches for Heroes of Newerth will now be comprised of bug fixes and balance tweaks.

Among other things in this latest update, tributes to various staff members have been included in the game to thank them for their work on the game over the years.

Other additions include hero reworks, fixes to the Forests of Caldavar with extra buildings for each base, tweaks to abilities and more. The full patch notes can be seen here.

Heroes of Newerth is one of the original MOBAs on the market and is based on Warcraft III mod, Defense of the Ancients.
