New DmC DLC announced ahead of game’s launch

Yep. You read right. DmC isn’t even out yet, and Capcom have confirmed there’s already DLC on the way. It’s not all bad, though, as in this new expansion, players get to play as Vergil.

Piqued your interest? Read on…

Entitled ‘Vergil’s Downfall’, players will experience a new chapter in Ninja Theory’s re-imagining of the hack and slash-em-up. Vergil’s Downfall will play out, showing where it all went wrong for Dante’s brother in DmC’s own brutally, familiar  way.

The good news is that Vergil’s Downfall will be a free download should you preorder the game, but the better news is that you’ll also get a Samurai weapons pack as well. We’ve already played the game quite extensively and can honestly tell you that it’s pretty effing epic.

It's ON

Need further convincing? Well, we’ve also got a gameplay trailer to show you. How convenient!

DmC launches on 15th January in NA & European territories so there’s still plenty of time for you to mull it over. You know, just in case a gaming cat’s endorsement isn’t convincing enough.
