Skyrim Special Edition 1.1 Update launches on Steam

Steam Beta has its first Skyrim Special Edition update. 1.1 fixes some of the general issues people have been having with the game and is available for testing right now.

The fixes included are, as follows…

  • General performance and optimization improvements
  • Fixed rare issue with NPCs not appearing in proper locations
  • Fixed issue with saves erroneously being marked as Moddded, even though no mods are active
  • Updated some sound files to not use compression

Bethesda have requested feedback on their forums so they can continue to tweak the update ahead of a full launch.

Both Xbox One and Playstation 4 owners can also expect a similar update in the not too distant future.
