The Pokémon Company have announced that they will be releasing updated versions of Pokémon Ruby and Sapphire this November. Both games will be for the 3DS, and will go by the titles Pokémon Omega Ruby and Pokémon Alpha Sapphire respectively.
The announcement was made in a short but entirely impossible to misinterpret video uploaded to the official Pokémon Youtube channel, which showcases the boxart for the two games.
Pokémon Ruby and Sapphire were first released on the Gameboy Advance in 2002, and marked the beginning of the third generation of Pokémon games. The new version will doubtlessly share the same extensive Pokédex as the recently released Pokémon X and Y.
