Remedy’s next big adventure, Control, releases August 27th, and there’s plenty of DLC and incentives to boot.

Remedy have now revealed what pre-order bonuses you can get for the game, along with confirming there will be two expansions post-launch.

Depending on whether you buy the game on Xbox or PS4, you’ll have different incentives for Control, but PS4 definitely gives you more choice.

Xbox

For Pre-Order Content, you can get a Tactical Response Gear (Outfit) for Jesse and a Crafting Resources Pack.

In addition, there are retail exclusives for Futurepak Exclusive Packaging and 5 x Artcards.

Playstation

PS4 owners have a lot more choice when it comes to Control. In addition to the Xbox Pre-Order Content,you can have a Control Avatar for PSN and a ‘Shifting Place’ Dynamic Theme.

Launch Day Releases will also give you a Rare Service Weapon Mod, Rare Player Mod, an Astral Dive Suit, Urban Response Gear, and an Exclusive Side Mission called Isolation.

PS4 owners will also get two Static Themes – The Explorer and The Black Rock Quarry.

Post Launch DLC

Remedy have now confirmed that Control will have an Expansion Pass and it will contain two DLC packs. The first is ‘The Foundation’ and the second is called ‘Awe’.

Both DLC packs will be sold seperately or as part of an Expansion Pass and will include new locations, story, side missions, and mods.
