Crytek confirm that there are big plans in the works for Crysis 3 DLC.
Crytek, the masterminds behind the ever evolving Crysis series, seem to have plans for the post launch Crysis 3 DLC, before the game is even out. When CVG asked about DLC plans, the COE of Crytek, Cevat Yerli responded with:
We’re still exploring that. We have some plans in mind that we can’t disclose yet, but we are going to wait a little bit to see how the beta’s running and how the game does for the first few days. We do have a big plan to support it.”
Although the game hasn’t reached the shelves, if the recent success of the beta is anything to go by, these DLC plans could be well received. It again seems that post launch DLC is already being considered before the game has been released, bringing about the “Should this have already been in the game?” argument once again.
