A brand new Dragon Age game is dropping this week almost a decade after the last.

The Veilguard is coming from Bioware and EA, seeing a return of the critically acclaimed, award winning high fantasy world in the most grand of ways.

While we’ve since learned there will be no post launch DLC as Bioware are focusing on making this the most ‘complete, out of the box experience they could’  there is still some pre-launch and Digital Deluxe content to sink your teeth into.

By pre-purchasing the game, you will get the classic ‘Blood Dragon Armor’ that has been  such an iconic staple of the series since the start, giving you options for a Warrior, Rogue and Mage.

If you get the Digital Deluxe Edition, however, you’ll also get some additional Rook cosmetics, as well as outfits for your slate of heroes.

The Rook Cosmetic Armor Sets are shown above, as well as Companion Cosmetic Armor sets, plus 6 more weapon cosmetics for Rook and 7 for your companions.

Interestingly, there’s no art book or OST purchasable for the game which is often considered a staple for Deluxe Editions, but likely has something to do with the rights and the world class composer team that is working on the game with Hans Zimmer and Lorne Balfe.

Regardless Dragon Age: The Veilguard launches on PC, PlayStation and Xbox on October 31st, 2024.
