This week, Dragon Quest returns in a big way with a reimagining of the classic seventh instalment.

Dragon Quest VII Reimagined brings the classic story to modern platforms on February 5th for PC, Xbox, PS and Switch. But if you pick up the Digital Deluxe Edition, you can start playing a few days early.

From Feb 3, you can play the game in Early Access and also pick up a costume for your hero, as well as Trodain Togs (an appeareance change for your character) and a Seed of Proficiency which is earned by progressing through the game.

A Silver Slime Shield can also be claimed from the special reward screen and there’s even some additional DLC sets included, like The Road of Regal Wretches, Luminary’s Livery and Jam-Packed Swag Bag. A White Wolf Costume change for Ruff has also been added.

Dragon Quest VII Reimagined is available in early access from February 3rd and releases in full on February 5th for PC, PS, Switch and Xbox.
