Dredge getting premium DLC and free content through 2023

Dredge has turned out to be one of this year’s surprise hits and it seems like there’s a lot more to come.

Through 2023, there will be 3 free content updates, adding new features to the game, and it closes out with a premium DLC by the end of the year, as revealed by PS Blog.

Beginning this month, Map Markers will be added to the game, making it easier for you to navigate and get around while you hunt for your next objective. You’ll be able to highlight everything from shipwrecks, to dangers. Further balancing and fixing will also be implemented within this update.

A second update, also due in Q2, will be a lot more relaxing with a Photo mode added to the game with an all new character, as well as a Passive Mode which means monsters wont attack you and you can just stick to the fishing.

A third free update will then add the option to customise your boat in a variety of colors and flags, letting you create your own unique vessel that ‘stands out’.

The year is capped off with a Premium DLC centered around ‘the mysterious Ironhaven Corporation’. Their goals are unknown, but they are trying to establish a drilling operation which might just align with your goals. Or not.

You’ll be able to gather new materials, construct new buildings and even catch new fish. Basically, it sounds like more of the same but with a fun twist and we’re here for that.

Dredge is now available across all platforms and we REALLY enjoyed it.
