Ask people what their most anticipated DLC is in 2024 and many will point to Elden Ring.
Shadow of the Erdtree has got people talking all over the internet, hyping and speculating on its release and what it may contain as fans are desperate for a return to the Lands Between.
Now an unexpected SteamDB update may have set speculation into overdrive. A new unknown app was added to Elden Ring’s DLC section on January 10th.
Why is this significant? The last addition to that folder was 15 months ago when an Adventure Guide was added. And before that it was 2 years ago when the EU Pre-Purchase DLC bundles, as well as Bonus Gestures and Digital Artbooks were added.
This has been further amped up by a collectible company – Pure Arts – announcing their first collectible will release in February 2024 and more information will be released soon. Most interesting.
And with an Xbox Developer Direct happening in just a few short days, maybe, just maybe, we’ll get to hear some news there? Either way, I don’t think the wait will be much longer for Shadow of the Erdtree.
