Elden Ring: Tarnished Edition coming to Nintendo Switch 2 with new content

Elden Ring is coming to Nintendo Switch 2 later this year and bringing some new content with it.

Confirmed during the Nintendo Direct and not coming at launch, Elden Ring: Tarnished Edition will bundle the base game with Shadow of the Erdtree.

It will also bring some new content along with it. The content will seem familiar to Dark Souls 2 players, as four new armor pieces have been added to the game as well as three new appearence types for Torrent the horse.

Apparently these will be coming to all formats as well as Switch 2 to celebrate 28 million copies sold of Elden Ring, but it’s nice to get a cool new announcement and to see the game coming to Switch 2 as well.

FROM Software are seemingly keeping busy with Nintendo’s hardware as well, with a brand new IP and game coming in 2026 – The Duskbloods.

Elden Ring: Tarnished Edition doesn’t have a date yet on Switch 2 but it is due to release in 2025 and likely during the console’s launch window.
