In a somewhat surprising move, Final Fantasy XV Director, Hajime Tabata has revealed he wants to deliver three more episode-style DLC packs in 2018.
The announcement came during the last Active Time Report stream and Square Enix plans to share more details later this year.
What we do know is that the first content pack will be based on Ardyn and the world of Eos. They are also aware of the demand to see Luna’s story fleshed out in more detail.
Tabata has also been clear in saying he wants to release the content packs when they’re ready and so there isn’t a clear focus to release all of them in 2018.
The aim is to create something that will bring people back who have either finished or lost interest in the game.
Final Fantasy XV has already received two major episodic packs, Episode Prompto and Episode Gladio, with Episode Ignis to follow, in addition to Final Fantasy XV Comrades, the multiplayer expansion.
