While the first piece of Playstation All-Stars DLC has been announced as free content, future DLC will apparently come at a price.
We know that the first DLC for All-Stars will include Emmett Graves from Starhawk, Kat from Gravity Rush, and a WipEout styled arena. All that for nothing. Pretty sweet deal.
Beyond that, no other characters or arenas have officially been announced, but it seems the game will be getting be further expansions, and they will come at a price.
A neoGAF user has noticed one of the prizes Sony will be offering in an upcoming ‘Ultimate Matchup’ game on Facebook will be a Playstation All-Stars Battle Royale DLC Pack digital voucher. According to Sony, the approximate retail value of this voucher will be $3. That would work out at around £2, or in typical EU DLC conversion fashion, £3.
It wouldn’t be a massive surprise to see the game get continued support. We know that developers, Superbot, were recently hiring for an Art Director and Game Designer. That either suggests they’re working on an entirely new project, a suspected sequel or brand new content for their ‘don’t call me Smash Brothers’ fight-em-up.
