The final Mario Kart 8 Deluxe DLC is dropping this Winter with Wave 6.

Four new characters will be added into the bundle – Diddy Kong, Funky Kong, Peachette and Pauline – with some of these playable for the first time ever on a core Mario Kart game.

Today’s Nintendo Direct also shone the spotlight on one of the new courses being added in this Wave – Daisy Circuit – which will be familiar to those who’ve played Mario Kart Wii.

This will be the final DLC for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, presumably then paving the way for the next game in the series, likely releasing with Nintendo’s next console.

The Booster Course Pack will also get a physical release, minus Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, on October 6th.
