No Rest For The Wicked, still in Early Access, has just released a brand new Crucible Update.
Alongside the highly anticipated Steam Deck verification that include quality of life fixes and optimisations, Moon Studios’ latest adds a brand new challenge to the game.
The free update adds a new roguelite and boon system which adds art themes for Crucible rooms, ‘deeper randomization’ and earlier unlocking for The Crucible ahead of ‘reaching Sacrament’.
New enemies have also been added in – Gloam – with new combat behaviours and an all new Item Category where ‘Exceptional Items’ are added into the game.
Combat has also been revamped as well as improvements to the flow of battle with the way you can defeat enemies and you can encounter stray animals to say ‘hello to’.
With new revisions and updates to existing areas and the optimisation on Steam Deck, this is a massive, free update for the game, that definitely brings it a step closer to 1.0.
