Capcom have just shown us a lot more of the Resident Evil 4 Remake and announced pre-orders are open.
Available across Xbox, PlayStation and PC, if you pre-order the base game you can get an Attaché Case: ‘Gold’ which is a perk that increases the drop rate of Pesatas.
You can also get a Handgun Ammo Charm which increases the chance for a craft bonus when crafting ammo.
If you go for the Digital Deluxe Edition on the other hand, you get a lot more! Additionally, there’s the Attaché Case: ‘Classic’ which adds a Perk that increases the drop rate of gunpowder.
There’s also a Green Herb Charm which increases health recovery for the plants when used.
On top of all that, the Deluxe Edition contains an ‘Extra DLC’ Pack, which includes
- Leon & Ashley Costumes: ‘Casual’
- Leon & Ashley Costumes: ‘Romantic’
- Leon Costume & Filter: ‘Hero’
- Leon Costume & Filter: ‘Villain’
- Leon Accessory: ‘Sunglasses (Sporty)’
- Deluxe Weapon: ‘Sentinel Nine’
- Deluxe Weapon: ‘Skull Shaker’
- ‘Original Ver.’ Soundtrack Swap
- Treasure Map: Expansion
The Skull Shaker is a ‘shotgun well-suited for indoor encounters’. It’s sawed-off which also means you have ‘excellent maneuverability and handling’.
Sentinel Nine is a customized handgun which has both ‘accuracy and versatility’ along with a ‘DSO emblem’ on the grip.
To access either of them, they can be claimed the Storage Menu when at any typewriter.
The Soundtrack swap, meanwhile, is pretty self-explanatory in that you can change the in-game soundtrack and effects to the original 2005 release of Resident Evil 4.
Finally the Treasure Map: Expansion adds ‘additional treasures’ and places them ‘throughout the game’. Some of them ‘can only be obtained by this method’.
Resident Evil 4 is coming to Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PS4, PS5, and PC on March 24, 2023.
