The highly anticipated sequel to Case of the Golden Idol launches next week and there’s plenty more cases to come.
Following its launch on November 12 on PC, PS, and Xbox, and Nintendo Switch on November 14, Rise of the Golden Idol will be accompanied by a full OST soundtrack on the same date.
From there, Publisher PlayStack and Color Gray Games have announced there will be four DLC packs beginning in Q1 2025 with The Sins of New Wells.
In this first expansion, Detective Roy Samson will follow ‘four brand new cases of his dealings with an organized crime syndicate plaguing the city. Drugs, death, and ancient Lemurian magic will make headlines in The Sins of New Wells’.
Two more DLC packs will then launch in Q2 2025, with a fourth dropping in Q3 2025. More information on those will follow, but each pack is branded as a ‘Golden Idol Mystery’ and will be known as ‘Investigation Chapters’.
All packs will be sold individually when they release for $5.99 or you can pick up a ‘Detective’s Pass’ which gives you a discounted rate for all four, along with the soundtrack for $17.99.
