Over the next few weeks, we’ll be sharing some gameplay videos of titles playing on Nintendo Switch 2 and other formats.

We’re kicking off our video coverage with Sonic X Shadow Generations which just glows on the new hardware!

This video shows off Green Hill Zone Act 1 and 2 from Sonic Generations as you play as the two different versions of Sonic. You can also see the first level of Shadow’s campaign which really puts Switch’s performance to the test.

In case you missed our review, we gave the game 4 stars and described it as a seamless treat on Nintendo Switch 2.

Sonic X Shadow Generations is a fantastic collection of quality content that beautifully celebrates the legendary journey of the blue hedgehog. All complimented by one of the best modern 3D Sonic / Shadow adventures to date with fast-paced tracks, intriguing story, a compelling overworld and a wonderful aesthetic. The lack of full HDR when docked and a true upgrade path between Switch 1 to Switch 2 is a bit disappointing, but this is a wonderful first point of entry for a truly excellent game that anyone with history with the Hedgehog must experience.
