A premium DLC is coming to The Case of the Golden Idol this week and it serves as a prequel to the main campaign.

The Spider of Lanka releases on May 4 and is set in an entirely new setting, taking place ‘thousands of miles from the rainy hills of Blackfield’.

It’s set a full year before The Case of the Golden Idol, with a visit to the Kingdom of Lanka and is set across three unique scenarios.

Players will “Delve deeper into complex personalities and conflicting motives … as you scour the courtyards, throne rooms, dockyards and back alleys for clues behind the grander mystery,”

We loved The Case of the Golden Idol last year, calling it one of our favourite games of 2022, so this DLC is incredibly welcome and exciting news.

The Spider of Lanka launches May 4 for $5.99
