The Messenger is one of last years’ biggest indie hits and we now know the game will receive some free DLC later this year in the form of Picnic Panic.
However, according to a Q&A from game director, Thierry Boulanger, Picnic Panic might just be the start of the games’ post-launch content.
In an end of year update from Sabotage, Thierry revealed that Picnic Panic is actually the first part of an intended trilogy.
He explained that Picnic Panic is an ‘experiment’ to drive sales for the game and if those sales meet the teams’ expectations, they will launch two bigger DLC packs down the road.
