The Outer Worlds Spacer’s Choice Edition enhances the game for current gen on March 7

A current-gen upgrade for The Outer Worlds is coming next week, bundling all the DLC together and raising the level cap.

The Outer Worlds Spacer’s Choice Edition will be available on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S on March 7 and will feature a series of improvements, including higher resolution graphics, overhauled lighting, improved character detail and even a dynamic weather system.

What’s more, if you already own The Outer Worlds and its DLC on last-gen formats, you can upgrade for a fee of £5. Alternatively, Spacer’s Choice Edition will launch for £49.99.

The news follows a recent announcement that The Outer Worlds 2 is in development and will almost certainly get some sort of reveal later this year.

For those who’ve yet to check out the game or its DLC, we reviewed the entire Expansion Pass here.

The Outer Worlds Spacer’s Choice Edition releases March 7.
