The Outer Worlds is an excellent throwback to classic RPGs like Fallout and Skyrim and was a runaway hit.
The game’s success has seen it nominated for countless awards, accolades, and distinctions since its release a few short months ago.
Many are already done with the game though and have been thirsty for more. With Obsidian also hoovered up by Xbox, PS gamers want to make the most of a franchise that could soon be console-locked.
Thankfully, Obsidian and The Outer Worlds social media manager, Shyla, has confirmed in a forum post that the story will continue with some DLC next year.
Shyla says… “the journey isn’t over yet as we are excited to announce that we will be expanding the story through DLC next year! Details will be made available at a later date.”
No specifics were announced, but it’s good to know that the journey is set to continue in 2020.
Between that and the Switch port being worked on, we’ll be hearing plenty more from Obsidian and The Outer Worlds in the months ahead.
