World of Warcraft: Midnight, the eleventh expansion, launches March 2

World of Warcraft continues to defy expectation and maintain high quality releases one after another.

In just a few short days, its eleventh expansion will drop – Midnight – celebrating over 20 years of the popular and titular MMORPG.

And yet, despite all the incredible things the game has achieved, it’s this expansion that will finally introduce Housing to the game. A major update that fundamentally changes so much about how long you’ll be able to engage with the game, by putting together your own cozy abode with tables, chairs, fireplaces, gardens and more.

This also enables you to set up community hubs, neighbouring areas, shared events and rewards and so much more. It’s a wonderful way to maintain the friendships you’ve built up in the game over the years and begin new ones.

Of course, Midnight also continues the current story where you now face Xal’atath, the Harbinger and the Void. But perhaps most excitingly is existing and beloved zones in the game have been reworked in massive ways.

Classics such as Silvermoon City and Eversong Woods are reimagined and play a vital role in the campaign, alongside new areas like Zul’Aman, Harandar and Voidstorm.

You can also hunt elusive enemies for bounties, use fragments of the void with Devourer Demon Hunters, recruit allies and even visit all new zones and dungeons.

It’s a vintage WoW expansion in every sense of the word, with some fantastic inclusions and epic additions alongside.

You can now play the expansion early if you own the Epic Edition, or you can wait a bit longer for March 2 when the expansion goes live for everyone on PC and Battle.Net

For the Horde and the Alliance forever!
