WWE 2K18 will see its Enduring Icons DLC release this week, adding Matt and Jeff Hardy, as well as Beth Phoenix and The Rock ‘n’ Roll Express to the roster.
Perhaps slightly disappointingly for some, however, this will not feature the new theme for ‘Woken/Broken’ Matt Hardy gimmick we’ve seen in recent weeks on TV.
This will be the last DLC pack for the game and has been given a January 16 release date for PS4, Xbox One and PC. News on the Nintendo Switch version, however, remains a mystery, with also no word on previous DLC pack, NXT Generation. The Nintendo Switch version of WWE2k18 launched in a horrific state just last month, and has not been patched since mid-December with many still citing huge problems.
Currently, players can download the Season Pass on NA Switch, as well as the Accelerator, Kurt Angle, Cena (Nuff) Pack and MyPlayer Kick Start. However, the New Moves and NXT Generation Pack are nowhere to be seen. With no word on when the Enduring Icons pack might appear either, it’s become a bit of a concerning situation for Season Pass holders on Switch.
This isn’t the first time 2K have had controversy on Switch as their port of NBA 2k18 also released in a poor state. However, the game has been patched several times since and is said to be a much better experience.
