Just like an RKO outta nowhere, WWE 2K18 will release on Nintendo Switch TOMORROW.
Considering how much of a big release for Switch this is, the notice period is a real shock. The important thing, however, is that you will be able to get WWE2K18 on your Nintendo Switch before Christmas. Just.
The release appears to be feature complete compared to the others, offering the MyCAREER and Road to Glory modes, in addition to Online play, local multiplayer and the infamous creation suite.
There’s a grapple carry system, as well as weight detection and the biggest ever roster of characters in a WWE game. With Switch, you’ll be able to play on TV or in handheld mode with up to four people in online and local multiplayer.
The WWE2k18 standard addition gives you access to the Kurt Angle pack if you’ve preordered or if you purchase the digital version you can get it through the Nintendo eShop at no additional cost through December 13.
The Digital Deluxe Edition (which is a digital only product) gives you the Kurt Angle pack as well as the full Season Pass digital content which includes Accelerator, Enduring Icons Pack, MyPlayer Kick Start, New Moves Pack, NXT Generation Pack, as well as the WWE 2K18 Cena (Nuff) pack with two playable versions of John Cena, as well as Batista and Rob Van Dam.
Standard WWE2K18 will set you back $59.99 while the Digital Deluxe Edition will cost $89.99. The Season Pass can be purchased seperately for $29.99 on launch day before the price increases.
