The Bard’s Tale 4 Barrows Deep gets massive Director’s Cut DLC in June

The Bard’s Tale 2.0 DLC is still very deep in development, but has now grown to become a Director’s Cut.

Many new features are being added to the game, including huge performance and optimization fixes to improve the overall quality of the game.

Things like inventory filtering, balancing, an updated game engine, reworked main menu, and more will improve the flow of the game.

However, a massive new dungeon is also being added to The Bard’s Tale 4, even including some new enemies. You’ve also got some extra master-crafted gear and Dwarven weapons, a new intro animatic.

There’s even an additional Song of Exploration which actually lets you bypass some puzzles.

The Bard’s Tale 4 Directors Cut DLC is currently scheduled in for June and aims to massively rejuvinate to the game ahead of its eventual release on consoles.

More as we get it.
