Starfield Premium Edition Upgrade with all DLC works with your Xbox Game Pass Subscription

Starfield early access is almost here and it represents an exciting moment for the industry.

It’s Bethesda’s first new IP in 25 years, their latest single-player major open-world game since Fallout 4 in 2015, and one of the biggest games this year.

It’s easily the largest game Bethesda have released since being acquired by Xbox, and certainly one of the most highly anticipated exclusives on the platform to date.

And if you have Xbox Game Pass, you’ll be able to play the game as part of your subscription, which is absolutely mindblowing. However, Game Pass unlocks don’t begin on Starfield until its official release date of September 6th.

The only way to get access to Starfield as early as tomorrow in some regions (September 1st in others) is by picking up the Starfield Premium Edition which provides 5 days early access.

And here’s the best bit. By having an active subscription to Xbox Game Pass, that means you own the base game for as long as you’re a subscriber. Which means you’re eligible to purchase the Starfield Premium Edition Upgrade at a much cheaper price point and get in on that five days early access. You even get a discount on the price by being a Game Pass member.

But that’s not the only reason to pick up the Premium Edition Upgrade as you’ll also get access to the full Season Pass of content – Shattered Space Story Expansion – once they release.

There’s also a Constellation Skin Pack – which includes an Equinox Laser Rifle, Spacesuit, Helmet and Boost Pack. And on top of that, there’s a Starfield Digital Artbook and OST.

With Starfield highly unlikely to ever leave Xbox Game Pass and with a cheaper point of entry than buying the game outright, you can get a fantastic discount right out of the gate, play the game early and be set up for the long term when the new DLC launches. It doesn’t get any better than that!

Starfield begins launching from tomorrow in Early Access and officially releases on PC and Xbox on September 6th.
