Crucible is going offline for good on November 9th

Amazon’s first major attempt to infiltrate the gaming market has fallen at the first hurdle.

Crucible, their F2P PVP shooter will go offline on November 9th. This is so the team can invest all of their resources and work on the New World MMO.

Any purchases made will be refunded, and from now on, you cannot spend real money in the game.

Crucible launched this May, but almost immediately went back into closed beta where it has been ever since. The game was due to receive an extensive reworking.

Crucible will get a final playtest and community celebration ‘both in-game and in our official Discord’.

Farewell then, Crucible. We barely even knew thee.
