Dead Cells getting premium DLC The Bad Seed in 2020

The magnificent Dead Cells from Motion Twin is getting some premium DLC in early 2020.

Coming from splinter-team, Evil Empire, (a studio within a studio created to work on new projects), this will be the first paid expansion for Dead Cells.

Due to arrive in Q1 2020, The Bad Seed will cost $4.99 and be released for PC, Switch, PS4 and XO.

The main additions include two new biomes, as well as the Arboretum and The Swamp added as new locales.

Evil Empire are also teasing an epic boss battle, a double-slot weapon, and a ‘dedicated and loyal mushroom companion’.

This doesn’t mean the end of free content for Dead Cells, though, as Motion Twin assures there will still be ‘free content, balancing and systemic updates
