THE POKÉMON GO LIVERPOOL SAFARI ZONE IS NOW LIVE.
Beginning today and through the weekend, players will encounter the following special Pokémon if they purchased tickets for the event.
- Relicanth (Normally a Regional for New Zealand)
- Unown L,I,V,E,R,P,and O (To spell out Liverpool)
- Chinchou and Lanturn (New Shiny Pokemon for the Event)
- Basculin (Red-Striped instead of Blue)
A Shiny Chinchou is a guaranteed encounter during the event if you complete the tasks.
The following Pokémon have also been boosted in the wild.
- Pikachu
- Psyduck
- Poliwag
- Tentacool
- Krabby
- Horsea
- Dratini
- Mantine
- Mudkip
- Carvanha
- Wailmer
- Lileep
- Anorith
- Oshawott
- Tympole
- Basculin
- Dwebble
As previously mentioned, the event is fully playable from home, featuring increased Incense spawns and a full duration of eight hours.
All the tasks will also be completable from home and feature increased Pokéball rewards.
These tasks are, as follows.
- Transfer 10 Pokemon for 1 Incense
- Evolve 3 Pokemon for 100 Great Balls
- Catch 10 different species for 5 Rare Candy
- Part 1 Rewards are 1 Super Incubator, 1 Fast TM and 10 Golden Razz Berries
- Take a Snapshot of your Buddy for 1 Lucky Egg
- Give your buddy 3 treats for 100 Great Balls
- Play with your Buddy 3 times for 1 Star Piece
- Part 2 Rewards are 1 Premium Raid Pass, 20,000 Stardust and a Shiny Chinchou encounter.
City Explorer Pass owners will also see increased Lure Module durations and reduced distance to hatch eggs. This means 2km should only be 0.5km but this only went live at 10am local time, not 6am as previously mentioned.
