Game Showcase: Raidou Remastered: The Mystery of the Soulless Army

The games aren’t slowing down this week as another set of exciting, diverse titles are dropping.

And SEGA, who love to keep busy, are right at the centre of it, also having the major honor of hosting the next big third party Switch 2 release – RAIDOU Remastered: The Mystery of the Soulless Army!

This is a remaster of a classic PS2 Atlus style RPG with new visuals, audio, combat as well as improved UI, full VO and reimagined 3D environments.

Set in 1930s Tokyo, the game is a spin off from the Shin Tensei Megami Franchise, alongside Persona, and in a similar way sees you tame demons, visit the Dark Realm and solve unexplained mysteries.

Originally part of and titled Devil Summoner: Raidou Kzunoha vs The Soulless Army, a young heiress approaches the Narumi Detective Agency…asking to die. But she is abruptly kidnapped and so as Raidou it’s up to you to investigate as a Devil Summoner to protect Tokyo and find some answers.

The game has a base edition as well as Digital Deluxe Edition, which also includes some DLC content, outlined below…

– DLC Content – Kuzunoha Village Trainings (Grants access to trials with experience, in-game currency, and stat increase rewards)
– DLC Content – Demons of the Aril Rift (Grants access to battles with Special Book rewards)
– DLC Content – Guest Demons Pack (Grants access to popular demons from the Shin Megami Tensei series)
– DLC Content – Skill Book Pack (Forbidden books that grant special abilities)
– DLC Content – Survival Pack (Grants items that help for Battle)

We’ll have a lot more content to share from the game later this week, but for now all you need to know is RAIDOU Remastered launches June 19 on PC, PS, Xbox, Switch 1 and 2.
