Sony are certainly putting together some interesting marketing strategies for their exciting Horizon follow-up.
In addition to a gorgeous looking LEGO set which lets you recreate the massive Tallneck, they are also planting trees in exchange for you unlocking a trophy.
No, really, that’s it. In a bid to help with reforestation in three key areas, all players have to do is play Horizon: Forbidden West and unlock the ‘Reached the Daunt’ trophy before March 25th. Pretty cool!
The areas Sony are replanting in are Douglas County Forest in Wisconsin, Sheep Fire Private Lands in California, and Torreya State Park in Florida.
Sony are also doing putting together some ecological efforts in the UK, including lighting up a Shieldwing at the Eden Project dome in Cornwall and planting a wildflower habitat in Lancashire.
Horizon Forbidden West launches this Friday on PS4 and PS5, so there’s plenty of time to show your support in playing for the planet.
