On its release in 1992, Mortal Kombat caused uproar with parents and American Senators alike for its ‘realistic’ ultra-violence and became the first game to receive a Mature ESRB rating. A string of sequels and even a couple of terrible movies followed, then after the successful reboot by those wonderful chaps and chapettes at NetherRealm Studios in 2011, it all went a bit quiet. Well, not anymore!
Mortal Kombat X has been announced and it even has a shiny trailer with music from Wiz Khalifa – who presumably is a famous recording artist…
Be aware the trailer may not be suitable for wee kiddies and people of a sensitive nature… it is Mortal Kombat after all.
Eww! Did you see those gruesome Sniper Elite V2 style X-Ray Kill Camish bits?!? Gross!
Mortal Kombat X “combines unparalleled, cinematic presentation with dynamic gameplay to create an unprecedented Kombat experience” apparently and you can grab your copy sometime in 2015 for the PS4, PS3, Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PC.
