Pathfinder: Kingmaker’s major story-driven expansion -Varnhold’s Lot – will be releasing on February 28th.
This is a complete side-story with a self-contained narrative where you can create a new character and fight through a whole new dungeon.
In Varnhold’s Lot, you’ll play as Varn’s general and fight against Maegar Varn, the captain of the Varnling Host mercenary band. Also deemed the rightful ruler of Varnhold.
What’s more, you can import your achivements into the main campaign, meaning your actions in the DLC will carry across to the main game and enable you to visit the dungeon once more, but at the expense of your prior decision-making. Interesting.
You’ll also be able to experience the story from a companion’s point of view as you fight for the future of Varnhold.
As we previously documented, this is the second of three expansions for the game, with the third – Beneath the Stolen Lands – expected in April.
Beneath the Stolen Lands will add the Endless Dungeon mode to the game, providing rogue-like randomly generated dungeons with unique bosses.
Varnhold’s Lot will be available seperately or as part of the Pathfinder: Kingmaker Season Pass.
