Shadow of the Tomb Raider’s next DLC – entitled The Nightmare – will release on January 22nd.

This will be the third piece of DLC for the Shadow of the Tomb Raider season pass, following both The Forge and The Pillar.

Information is scarce on the content but we do know that this content will take us back to Croft Manor delve into Lara Croft’s past to face familiar enemies and contend with the trauma of fallen friends.

Once again, a brand new challenge tomb will be added to the game and the reward for beating it will be a ‘powerful and mysterious weapon’.

The DLC will also add the Fear Incarnate Gear Pack, which gives Lara a whole new outfit that embraces her primal instincts. The description reads that ‘the Scales of Q are crafted from thick hides and solid bones providing twice as much resistance to melee attacks.’

What’s more, you can equip the ‘Grip of Fear’ which is a climbing axe that has also been optimised for combat and has ‘an increased chance to knock enemies down’.
