State of Decay Gets All Sandboxy

Undead Labs popular 2013 survive-em-up State of Decay is getting it’s first hit of DLC goodness later this month with the arrival of Breakdown on both PC and Xbox. Costing a mere $6.99 Breakdown has a host of new content including a sandbox mode that allows players to attempt to survive indefinitely with no pesky storyline to get in the way of all the fun. There’s also new achievements, leaderboards and even hero survivors that the Undead Labs websites describes heroes as:

tricked-out veteran zombie survivors with specialized skills, based on familiar faces you know and love. They show up with their favorite equipment, ready to shoot some heads, hack some limbs, repair some cars, and cook up some delicious feasts.

The game also gets harder the longer you play with increasing levels of difficulty giving tougher zombies and more special undead to test your aim or sneakiness against. Let’s take a gander at the trailer and see how it looks shall we?

Smashing eh? Who needs a PS4…
