Worms W.M.D Liberation update arriving December 7

A new, free update for Worms W.M.D – entitled Liberation – will be available to download on December 7 and adds a wealth of cool features to the game.

Team 17 continue to support the game post-launch and have added 5 new single player levels, as well as an additional vehicle, weapons, and a new theme.

The new drillboat vehicle will be the first ever aquatic vehicle in a Worms game and dishes out a – you guessed it – drill-based attack on enemies.

There’s also new weapons, including a Mischevious Drone, W1 Rocket, Tasty Worm Lick and a Worm Stinger.

You’ll even be able to use a new battle theme which adds new buildings and tunnels for explorative purposes. And to cap it all off, there’s 12 new customisations available for your worms, including a Cheese hat, Rubber Glove, and a Beret!

We loved our time with the game and you can see some of the mischief we got up to right here.

Worms W.M.D Liberation Update will arrive for PC, Playstation 4, and Xbox One on December 7th.

To celebrate, you can check out a series of streams Team 17 have planned with Twitch in the coming days, showing off some of the content before launch. You can also enter our competition to win one of two pirate Worm plushies.
