March 20 looms ever closer as Nintendo finally release another mainline Animal Crossing game.

Today they’ve shared another brief teaser to get us all in the mood, which also shows off the beautiful box art.

Microphone in hand, Tom Nook is out gesticulating in front of a crowd, convincing them to purchase a Deserted Island Getaway Package from Nook Inc.

Judging by their reaction, they’re pretty much sold already, as he shows the crowd of onlookers what players can expect from the latest Animal Crossing game.

Many familiar staples like tree-chopping are present but it also shows off features like path digging and the importance of water on this desert island.

At the end, you’ll see a variety of characters showing off some of the various customisation possibilities along with the gorgeous new box art!

We’ll surely hear more about the game very soon, but it’s possible Nintendo will keep updating AC with tons of content through 2020, likely related to the customisation element of the game.

We do know that there are also new features like pole-vaulting between areas – think Luke in Last Jedi – eight player multiplayer, and new crafting mechanics. Surely some new multiplayer content will also be on the horizon.
