Chrono Trigger now available on PC with new features

One of the greatest RPGs of all time has just launched on Steam with some brand new features and adjustments.

Chrono Trigger launches on Steam today with two additional dungeons, including the Dimensional Vortex dungeon and the familiar Lost Sanctum dungeon which first appeared on the DS and the mobile version of the game.

There are also updated graphics and sound which stay faithful to the original title, but have been remastered under the supervision of Yasunori Mitsuda, the original composer.

Controls have also had an update with support for both mouse and keyboard as well as controller support, and there’s a brand new Autosave feature.

If you purchase Chrono Trigger Limited Edition before April 2 as well, you’ll get some digital bonuses, including a digital song file which contains a medley of five songs, being ‘Far Off Promise, Wind Scene, Battle with Magus, Corridors of Time and the classic, Chrono Trigger theme’.

The bonuses also include Composer Yasunori Mitsuda’s digital liner notes and a collection of six PC wallpapers of various sizes.

What’s more, the existing mobile ports of Chrono Trigger have received an update today which brings them in-line with the PC version, and Chrono Trigger is available on the Amazon AppStore.

If you’ve somehow never played this incredible game, there has never been a better time. Chrono Trigger is available for £11.99 on Steam.
