Grass-type Pokémon are the major focus this week, beginning with the highly anticipated Equinox Event on March 19.

Oddish, Exeggcute, Sunken, and Shroomish will appear more frequently in the wild. Interestingly, Niantichaven’t confirmed them as Shiny, though we know Sunken already has a Shiny form in the game.

Shiny Treecko will also be added to the game for Community Day next weekend.

The big news is that Solrock and Lunatone will now switch hemispheres during the Equinox event and will stay in their new regions once the event ends.

Additionally, new Field Research will be added, as well as Grass Types in Raids. Finally, new moves will be added to the game.

• Acid Spray: Arbok, Victreebel, Tentacruel, Muk, Alolan Muk, Quagsire, Qwilfish, Octillery, and Swalot.
• Leaf Tornado: Victreebel and Shiftry.
