August 2019 DLC Release Schedule – Elder Scrolls, Street Fighter, Crash Team Racing

August takes us out of those slow Summer months and builds towards the years’ biggest releases.

The Elder Scrolls Online will get its third of four major DLCs this month with Scalebreaker.

Crash Team Racing takes us back in time with a brand new course.

Total War: Three Kingdoms has its first major chapter pack, Eight Princes.

And E Honda is finally coming back to Street Fighter in a major new DLC character pack! Woof!

This DLC list will be updated throughout the month as new releases appear so keep checking back.

Outland

August 1, 2019

H1Z1 Battle Royale has an all-new Outland map today that launches as a free expansion for all PS4 players. With new terrain, landmarks and POIs, there’s never been a better time to dive in.

Crash Team Racing: Nitro Fueled

Back N. Time

August 2, 2019

Out with one track and in with a new. Crash Team Racing visits the dinosaurs this month with the Prehistoric Playground track and much more.

Street Fighter V

New Character and Summer Packs

August 4, 2019

E.Honda is finally coming to Street Fighter V, the last of the classic SF2 characters to cross over. Alongside him comes Poison and Final Fight veteran, Lucia. There’s even a Summer 2019 character bundle with cool new costumes. Sweet!

Total War: Three Kingdoms

Eight Princes

August 8, 2019

Creative Assembly’s latest Total War game has had rave reviews since it launched earlier this year and now it has some new paid content to check out. Eight Princes will be the game’s first Chapter DLC and is set 100 years after the base game.

Pillars of Eternity

Obsidian’s exciting original IP, Pillars of Eternity, is finally coming to Nintendo Switch and bringing its DLC – The White March Parts 1 and 2 – with it. A massive franchise you don’t want to miss.

Following Elsweyr was always going to be tough, but Scalebreaker will see the continuation of TESOs Year of the Dragon storyline with its third of four planned DLCs this year. It adds two epic new dungeons and a ton of new loot and changes. Should be a good one!

Mortal Kombat 11

Nightwolf

August 13 (Early Access)

Long awaited classic character, Nightwolf, has made it to Mortal Kombat 11 and releases this month in Early Access. Watch those wolves, bows and axes, it’s going to get bloody out there!

The Bard’s Tale IV Barrows Deep

The Bard’s Tale IV was already a pretty great game but this 2.0 update is a substantial overhaul, adding a whole new end-game chapter, with new enemies, items and weapons. There’s also a ton of Quality of Life fixes and UI upgrades. But best of all? If you own it on PC already, it’s all completely free and if you have Xbox Gamepass, it’s also free on launch day! Get this played.

Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3

A free update at the end of the month will add Cyclops and Colossus to the Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3 ranks. This comes ahead of the first Marvel Knights DLC which will surely release shortly afterwards. But yay, more free stuff!

August 2019 

Due to release this month, the first major DLC Expansion for Vermintide 2 is almost here. With a new enemy faction, map, mode, weapons and difficulty, there’s a lot to unpack here. Don’t sleep on this one.

Yo-Kai Watch 4

Updates and DLC

August 2019 

In a major free update this month, a new map – Battle Raidenryuu is expected – along with additional Yo-Kai and friendship opportunities. Paid DLC is also said to follow, that includes multiplayer and even more Yo-Kai. When any of this arrives, however, is anyone’s guess.
