Civilization VII DLC Roadmap runs through October 2025 and beyond

If you were under any worries Civ 7 doesn’t have a long and healthy future planned, fear not.

Firaxis and 2K have put out a content roadmap that extends to October 2025 and beyond, encompassing the first two major DLC packs as well as detailing some of the free content updates being planned.

Beginning today with the game’s early access period through the Deluxe and Founders Edition towards the game’s full launch on February 11, a Day 0 Patch has also gone live to address some issues.

Then next month in early March, Crossroads of the World DLC will launch, featuring Ada Lovelace as a leader, along with 4 new Natural Wonders and Carthage & Great Britain joining as new Civs. This will go along with 1.1.0 Major Update, a new Natural Wonder Battle Event and another new Natural Wonder – Bermuda Triangle

Late March will then continue the Crossroads of the World roll out with another new leader – Simon Bolivar, along with the Bulgaraia and Nepal Civs. Late March then brings us 1.1.1 Update, a Marvelous Mountains Event and Mount Everest as a new Natural Wonder.

Then between April to September, the Right to Rule will roll out with 2 more new leaders, 4 new Civs and 4 new World Wonders, along with free content updates for players that will add more new events, challenges and updates.

Then from October 2025 onward, there will be much more to come but that remains a mystery. For now.

Civilization VII is available from today through Deluxe and Founders Editions with a full global launch on October 11 on PC, PS, Xbox and Switch.
