The dogs are finally leaving Research Breakthroughs with new encounters with Latias and Latios possible from May 1.

They join Lugia and Ho-Oh as the only four Pokémon available in your 7 day Research Breakthroughs. Each one also has a chance of being Shiny.

The new encounters begin on May 1 from 9pm BST and will last through to the end of June.

Additionally, different Pokémon will start hatching in Eggs from tomorrow, including the elusive Combee in 5km and Cranidos in 10km eggs.

Here’s the full list.

• 2 km Eggs – Turtwig, Chimchar, Piplup, Bonsly, and many more.
• 5 km Eggs – Cubone, Combee, Buizel, Glameow, Bronzor, Skorupi, Croagunk, and many more.
• 10 km Eggs – Mawile, Absol, Shinx, Cranidos, Shieldon, Riolu, and many more.

Interestingly, it seems Combees might also be getting a Shiny form soon if an event listing in Korea is anything to go by.

We don’t know if there’ll be anything new or different in 7km Eggs, though may get a few surprises over the next few days.
