Assassin’s Creed Shadows Claws of Awaji DLC may have been revealed ahead of launch

Following another unfortunate delay for Ubisoft’s highly anticipated return to the Assassin’s Creed series, the first DLC may already have been revealed.

With Ubisoft announcing Assassin’s Creed Shadows will now launch on March 20, there was a brief window in time where the Shadow’s Steam page was updated to announce a piece of content called Claws of Awaji.

Tipped as a ’10 hour’ piece of additional content, Claws of Awaji adds a new map to the game that gives a new weapon type, new skills, gear and abilities.

Interestingly, Ubisoft recently ditched the ‘Season Pass’ for Assassin’s Creed Shadows as well as three day early access, so it does make one wonder whether this will be bundled into the game at no additional cost or whether players can buy the content seperately at launch. This has yet to be clarified with the content still not officially revealed.

A bonus, pre-order mission also still seems to be on the table, called ‘Thrown to the Dogs’ but we don’t have details on what this contains as yet.

Assassins Creed Shadows will now launch on PC, PS, and Xbox on March 20.
