In news I was not expecting to see today, WB Games have confirmed Official Mod Support for Hogwarts Legacy on PC.
CurseForge will be hosting and moderating all Hogwarts Legacy Mods across Steam and Epic Games Store players once they download the latest free update on January 30.
From there, players will be able to access mods from the main menu. They’ll even be able to create their own using the Hogwarts Legacy Creator Kit – available for free on the Epic Games Store, but unclear if that also applies to Steam.
The Hogwarts Legacy Creator Kit will support modding of new quests, dungeons and even character enhancements. These mods can then be submitted through CurseForge and published in game.
An example mod has been shown off called ‘Dungeon of Doom’ where players can dive into a dungeon full of combat and hidden secrets. But they can also check out broom replacement mods, expanded character creation and outfit customisation.
It’s also unclear if consoles will get mod support down the line.
Hogwarts Legacy is out now across all formats and the mod support will be coming to Steam and Epic Game Store only on January 30.
