Monster Hunter Wilds hasn’t even launched yet and the first major title update post launch has been announced.

Coming this Spring, following the game’s launch on February 28, Mizutsune will be added into the game alongside some other additional updates and event quests.

Mizutsune is a recognisable foe in Monster Hunter, also recently popping up in Monster Hunter Rise, and will certainly be a tough task as he has always been in the other games. Event quests will then start rolling out for the game alongside other updates and special armor rewards popping up shortly after the game’s launch.

During Sony’s State of Play it was also confirmed that a Second Free Title Update will launch, adding yet another monster with more Event Quests.

Monster Hunter Wilds launches February 28 on PC, PS and Xbox.
