LEGO The Hobbit, launching this Friday, will document the events of the first two films of the trilogy: An Unexpected Journey and The Desolation of Smaug. However reports are circulating that the game may receive additional content through DLC that follows the events of the upcoming third and final film, There And Back Again.
The third film was originally expected this Summer, however it was recently delayed until December 17th. And according to the London Toy Fair and Brick Fanatics, TT are expected to meet that deadline and release DLC for LEGO The Hobbit closer to the third films’ release.
While these reports are unsubstantiated, they come from a reliable source and it wouldn’t be entirely surprising considering Traveller’s Tales work on previous LEGO games.
