JRPG Dragon’s Crown from Atlus has received a massive update in Japan, which adds a significant amount of content and fundamentally changes some key gameplay elements.
In addition to improved stability, the level cap has been raised from 99 to 255 through Ultimate difficulty. Ultimate difficulty can be selected if you clear the ninth level of the Labyrinth of Chaos.
In Ultimate difficulty as well, you can access a new dungeon ‘Sky Road of Dreams’.
In addition, some other key changes include both up arrows and L button can be used for item shortcuts, damage is now displayed as a total number and silhouettes can be displayed on the foreground to improve visibility.
There is also adjusted behaviour for NPCs, adjusted skill effects and actions for each class and adjusted effects and rules of equipment and items in the Arena.
This patch hasn’t been localised for NA territories as yet, but we hope to hear more on that soon.
